ERP Customization, Enhancements and Support Services for a global firm in lighting business


Established in Australia during 1940s, the organization has expanded its lighting business globally with offices in 14 countries including India with a large nation-wide network.


The client wanted to support services from Indusa for further customization, implementation, enhancements and reports generation for already implemented modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Production, Inventory, CRM, and more using Microsoft Dynamics AX.


Indusa worked on various modules for customization and issue resolving, report modification and creation, and enhancements. Indusa team first carried out the requirement study for the original implementation of the customization points. Based on the study, the team came up with the findings document along with the proposed solution and rectification. On client’s approval on the solution, rectification / modification were performed accordingly. The team then analyzed the data that was shown in the reports and compared it with the expected results to arrive at the final solution. Once the solution was available, changes were made accordingly to the report and testing was performed in the development environment.

In case of enhancements, Indusa team initially performed a requirement study of the actual process. Study was done of the existing implementation and relevant Gap analysis was done. This helped in coming up with a final solution document that was shared with the users. Upon sign-off of the same from business users, implementation of the same was performed on the stage environment. Business users were allowed to conduct a thorough UAT prior to the approval. Once the approval was received, the features were deployed to the production environment. Relevant reports were also generated including Delivery Analysis Report for Purchase & Sales Items, Dealers Target Turnover report, BI Reports for Management, Financial, Cash Flow Statement, Sales, and more.
